Who is Salt ?

Who is Salt? Angelina returns to the big screen to answer that question. But we have a question of our own: What’s up with salt?
Angelina stars in Salt, an action-packed summer thriller that opens July 23rd. She stars as Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who goes on the run to clear her name after she’s accused of being a KGB operative.

But in the world of salt and food, there's two very different trends occurring. First, there has been a rise in exotic salts showing up on restaurant menus and in supermarkets.

And while the type of salts available to chefs and home cooks increase, New York City is attempting to decrease the amount of salt its residents consume. High blood pressure is rising in both kids and adults, and New York City, led by Mayor Bloomberg, is encouraging food companies to reduce their use of salt in their products.
The amount of salt in some popular packaged foods might surprise you. Explore the issue further in the New York Times article, The Hard Sell on Salt. Who is Salt? You'll have to check out the movie when it comes out on July 23rd to find out. But in the meantime, I can tell you that salt is the chemical compound NaCl that adds flavor to foods but should be consumed in moderation.
Are you planning on seeing Angelina's latest movie?
