Trick O' Treat (Halloween)

When it comes to Halloween,  most people had the perception of evil or horror. Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration.

Common Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales, and watching horror films.

I can still recall one of our memorable Halloween moments and it was years ago in the Six Flags Magic Mountain at Los Angeles.   Hubby and i took a day off and drove to the Magic Mountain without thinking twice about Halloween Party the park was having.  After we tried all the rides, including the stomach churning Goliath , we decided to have a quick bite and then enjoy the rest of the night rides.

One the way to the rides,  the fog settled in and we saw a group of 'zombies' walking towards us.  All of the sudden the atmosphere changed, ppl started making the sinister laughs,  weird movements and the zombies started to chase us around.  We were of course surprise and after realizing it's a prank from the park ! We all join in the fun.  We realized it actually not a celebration of death or horror but more a celebration of life and fun.  From that day onwards,  without fail,  we do trick or treat on Oct 31.

Bringing in the Halloween fun, we will be celebrating Halloween @ Rosemary Bites.  For the special holiday,  we have came out with THREE scary treats ! See it to believe it our ONE AND ONLY, our special  "Lady Fingers" and "Witch Cauldron"  with Dr. Nut's Brownie with Ice-cream (Be carefull, you might bite into a bone or two),  trick or treat candies and of-course more 'eye-opening' meals lined up from Oct 22 till Oct 31 only.

Catch us with Witches Hat, grab a costume and join in the spirit.  What's your Halloween story ?
